Genetic engineering and biotechnology will have a big significance for our effort to solve today's challenges when it comes to fighting infectious and non-infectious diseases as well as environmental threats and climate change.
The objective of this programme is to provide you with a broad knowledge in molecular biology; genetic engineering, biotechnology and biodesign and combine this with innovation and entrepreneurship. You will also learn how to use modern experimental techniques and methods that are commonly used in these areas
Entry Requirements
Three A-Levels. The university prefers Biology, Chemistry and Physics at A2 or AS.
Scottish Students are required to have a SQC with 2 Advanced Highers and at least 4 Highers. Subjects to include Maths,Biology, Chemistry and Physics
Six passes at LC., two at H5. The university prefers Biology, Chemistry and Physics at LC but may accept two from these three
